Lincoln’s birthplace

While in Kentucky, we decided to try to get some more stamps for our US National Parks Passport book – Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park seemed like the perfect next stop!

We got there an hour before it closed, which honestly was plenty of time to walk around the grounds, the first Lincoln Memorial that holds a replica of the house Lincoln was born in, and the Sinking Spring, a water source for the Lincoln family. There was a Visitor’s Center and restrooms, and a unpaved path over to the Memorial.
